Update (2-27): We finally have internet. Pictures are now up and I'm going to start working on next week's lesson helps.
UPDATE: My internet is down and I can't upload the pictures! We had a big wind storm today and my trampoline hit our satellite we use for internet. There is a piece hanging off of it so I'm assuming that's the problem. I'm hoping to get someone out here to fix it in the next couple of days but until then I'm sorry this is the best I can do this week. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry right now. Anyway I'll keep working on it and if you have any question please let me know.
I am so close to being done with the lesson helps for this week but you know me I'm running behind on life again. Sorry!!! I know some of you do your lesson at home on Sunday so I'm going to share the download and a quick intro to each activity for those of you that need it right away. I used the primary manual for most of the topics and ideas-hope that helps. Email or leave a comment if you have any questions please. I'll update this post tomorrow with pictures and a better instructions (and maybe an extra idea!) so check back again.
Marvelous & Wonder Cards
Included in the download is a Marvelous show and tell word cards. Show the first card and ask what comes to mind when you hear the word marvelous?
Let your family show or tell you about something they have that is marvelous.
Show the next card and ask what comes to mind when you hear the word wonder? Open your
scriptures and read 2 Nephi 27:26. Do you know what event referred to in this verse?
Story Sequence cards of Joseph receiving the plates. You can read or use this account here as a reference and this video clip
The Book of Mormon is precious story and book/journal pages. I included a story from this talk and then there are pages to create your own book about all the things you learn from reading the Book of Mormon.
Line upon line puzzles. Hide the puzzle pieces and give a clue to find each one. Discuss how you would put the puzzle together one piece at a time instead of trying to do it all at the same time.
You can also teach this by making a dessert. Do not tell them the finished treat but give one ingredient at a time. For both activities compare this to how Heavenly father gives us a piece at a time and how it works to give us a full picture (or treat :) )
Come unto Christ coloring page & journal pages
I'll walk with you mini book or song flip chart.

Oh I'm so sorry that happened to you! I used some of your activities yesterday anyways (before you posted this update). My kids had a lot of fun running to find something marvelous and something that is a wonder. I love that you come up with ideas that get the kids up and moving (even if they are pretty simple, like this one). I took the activity a step further - my "marvelous" item was a box of girl scout cookies. After we discussed what the Lord's marvelous work and wonder was, I started eating the cookies. If my kids asked for some, I said "no", I just savored them (torturing them lol!) We then discussed how it made them feel to not have me share something so marvelous. And then talked about how marvelous it is to have the BoM and how much better it is to share... I then offered them a cookie. My husband declined, although unplanned, it worked well into the lesson: sometimes we offer the wonderful gospel with others and they decline... but at least we offer it! I hope that everything is resolved smoothly for your family :)
