Back to School Ideas

I can't believe its already time to be thinking about school!  I know some of you have already started and others like me a couple of weeks left.  Either way its an exciting, busy, and a little bit of a stressful time.  I've rounded up some great ideas to help things run a little more smoothly and add a little fun.

A Bowl full of Lemons has a great homework station.  I love that is is portable and can easily be but away.

JDaniel4's mom has these awesome routine charts (found here.)  I think these are perfect for my kids.

I love this adorable printable from Nest of Posies found here.

Marci Coombs has this adorable back to school gift (found here).  My girls would love this.
She also has the cutest back to school dinner tradition. We did this last year and plan to do it again.  You can find her current one here as well as links to previous years.

Positively Splendid shares this great print here.

The Silly Pearl's backpack tags are not only cute but a great way to teach responsibility.  I know my girls need this!  You can find the tutorial here.

Do you have any back to school traditions or ideas to make things run more smoothly?  I'd love to hear them!

P.S. You can find more idea on my back to school pinterest board.

Be the Good (printable)

I was reminded of this quote below and created a printable as a reminder for my family to "be the good" and notice the good around us. You are welcome to print one for your home as well.

August 2016 Visiting Teaching Message

(You can copy and paste to a word document to print.  I like to do this and fit 4 on a page.  Or you can save to your computer and upload to your favorite place to print.  It is sized to fit a 4x6 print.)

You can find the full message here.  The story at the end really touched my heart and is something I will be sharing with the sisters I teach.
