Come Follow Me Lesson Helps: Helaman 13-16

 

Happy Sunday!  I hope you week has been great.  We've been busy with all things school.  

This week during our Come Follow Me scripture study we are going to be discussing Samuel the Lamanite.  You may notice a theme as you scroll through the activities of hearts and arrows.  In these chapters we learn the the spirit speaks to us in our hearts.  We are going to discuss ways we can draw closer to the spirit and allow the Spirit to speak to us or are we sometimes allowing things to prevent us from letting the Spirit in our lives (these are the arrows).

Free Come Follow Me Lesson Helps: Helaman 7-12

Happy Sunday!  I am excited to share these fun and free Come Follow Me lesson helps today.  This week we are covering Helaman 7-12.  These activities are perfect for families and primary classes.  We will be talking about remembering the Savior, following the prophet, and what it means to ponder the scriptures.  I am excited we are also going to review the talk President Nelson gave during the April 2020 General Conference and discuss what it mean to "Hear Him."  I love this talk and I can't wait to focus on it this week. Come Follow Me: Helaman 1-6

I have a couple of ideas to share with you for Helamen 1-6.  I was busy with family last week and have been trying to catch up on everything since we've been back. Sorry I am just now getting this to you.  Hopefully it will be helpful.  These ideas are perfect for families or primary classes.  I always try to follow topics from the Come Follow Me primary manual.  In additional to the ideas in the download we are also going to use one of the ideas in the manual and build foundation out of a mixture of hard and soft supplies then use our wood blocks to build a house and compare the different foundations. In the download you will find journal pages, song helps, mini books, and our wise man and foolish man experiment.  I hope you have a great rest of the week and enjoy learning the gospel with your little ones :)  See you in a couple of days with next week's lesson helps!

New 2022 Calendar is now available here

 I have been using these watercolor calendars for a few year now and I still love the simple, beautiful design.  I know a few of you also love them too and have been requesting a 2021 version. I'm so excited to share these with you.  For me August is a lot like New Years.  Its a time for me to reset, evaluate, and refocus on organization and goals.  I love printing a couple sets of these calendars. I use one for organizing all of our family activities and events, another for menu planning, and this year I plan to use one to keep track of my business/blog  schedule.  I'd love to hear how you use them.

Come Follow Me Lesson Helps: Alma 43-52 (August 3-9)

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Mine turned surprisingly busy and I am jumping on really quick to get next week's free printable lesson helps for Come Follow Me.  We are covering Alma 43-52.  I was a little worried about hitting the war chapters but I loved spending time in these chapters this week.  We are going to to talk about spiritual armor, the Title of Liberty, and Captain Moroni. I try to stick with the themes from the primary manual and these activities are perfect for families or primary.  I hope you find something that works for you:)
