Come Follow Me: Revelations 12-22 (December 23-29)

This week we are going to talk about the 2nd coming using Revelation 19:7.  The primary manual has some great ways to introduce the topic.  I love the idea of talking about ways we get ready for church on Sunday.  I plan to use props that we pull out of a bag.  It's always fun to have one person come to the front of the room and "get them ready" to go to church.  For example bring a dress or tie and put it on the person.  Bring a brush and have them pretend to brush their hair.  There are several things you can bring.  Then ask why do we do these things before we come to church?  Lead the conversation towards why we need to prepare for the Second Coming.

With Christmas in a few days I have been crazy busy but luckily I already had some really fun things put together for this topic that I plan to use.

In this one there is a 2nd Coming review game, journal/coloring page and my favorite oil lamp game (This is what we plan to do).  Found here

You can also find this game and a printable here

Thanks for being patience with me during this busy time of year.  My goal for next year is to get this post out on Friday like I use to!  I love the New Year as it gives me that push I need to change, grow, and restart.  With that being said what are something you would like to see from me?  What types resources would be helpful?  Thanks for making this year so special and for joining me as we learned more about the Savior by studying the New Testament.

  1. I love all your work. I really like it when you do the picture sequence, for stories. For example you did the 6 pictures for Jesus walks on water, and the blind man who put clay on his eyes and was healed. I like telling the stories with pictures.

  2. I love everything you do! Thank you so much for helping our family learn this year. You are amazing!

  3. Thank you for all you do! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

  4. I have been using your lesson helps for months now. You have the BEST lessons and I am so thankful for all of the time and effort you put in each week. Thank you, truly. I appreciate you!
