Free Come Follow Me Helps: Prayer and Peacemaker

I've been sick and haven't had a chance to read this week's Come Follow Me chapters yet.  I am hoping to make a few activities in the next couple of days but I also don't want to get behind so I may skip this week.  We'll see how it goes.
However as I was looking through some of the topics I do have some fun ideas already on my blog that may work for you. Here's what  I found:
Prayer
(fun activities and a cute story about Heavenly Father hearing our prayers) https://www.thecozyredcottage.com/2020/03/come-follow-me-enos-words-of-mormon.html

Peacemaker

Update New Ideas: I had a few minutes and created a couple of activities for this week that go with some of the topics in the primary manual.  It's not the prettiest post or download but the activities are still cute :) I didn't have enough time to add the instruction pages and images to the post like I normally do (I hope to get to this later this week). I just really wanted to make sure you had these.  So here's what's included: Coloring page that goes with "Jesus Christ will lead me by the hand." I thought it would be really fun to create a mini obstacle course in your living room or classroom.  Blindfold one person and let them try to make it to the other side of the room unassisted.  Then try again with another person leading them by the hand.  Ask follow up questions about the experience and what it means for Jesus to lead us by the hand.
I also shared a link for a beautiful song that would work well for this theme called "His Hands." Have you heard this one before? I remember hearing it as a teen and my dad sharing that it was one of his favorites. It's one of mine too.
The last activity is an "I am a Peacemaker" heart necklace.  Your kids can color the heart, hole punch the top, and add it to some string. *Want to make this activity last a little longer? String some beads or cereal to on each side of the necklace.  If using yarn wrap a little tape to the end to keep it from fraying and it makes it easier for little ones to slide their beads or cereal on the string.
