Free Come Follow Me Lesson Helps for Doctrine and Covenants 137-138

 First I want to apologize for disappearing for a month. It was not my intention but life happens sometimes and I didn't have the time to create any activities for you. I appreciate you sticking around even when I'm not consistent with sharing.

This week I do have something for you! In D&C 138 we read about President Joseph F. Smith reading and pondering the scriptures and the blessing that came from his study. Tonight for FHE we are going to talk about this and the importance of making the scriptures apart of our lives. Next we are going to play scripture Pictionary-it would also work for charades. I have 20 cards for you with simple words that relate to different scripture stories (I used stories from the Bible, Book of Mormon, and D&C). If you need more info on how to play either let me know and I'll get that to you :) I ran out of time to type it up. Here's a twist we are going to add-1 point for correct guess (the big word in bold) and the give the team one guess figure out the scripture story it relates to. Many are obvious, a few are a little harder. Finally we are going to end by having everyone share their favorite scripture or scripture story and why.

Free Come Follow Me Activities for D&C 125-128

I have a really quick but fun activity for you that goes along with this week's Come Follow Me Chapters. In Section 126 we find a revelation given to Brigham Young telling him to "take especial care of his family." This activity will help your family or primary class think of some ways they can take care of their family. This simple flip and color activity is the perfect way to open the discussion on this topic and encourage your family to share their ideas on this topic. Free Come Follow Me Activities Doctrine and Covenants 124

This week was a little crazy and I didn't find much time to work on activities this week. However I have some really fun ideas that would work perfectly in this Honesty Lesson post. We going to play the Pinocchio nose game and than I am going to cut the 13th Article of Faith page into puzzle pieces and help the kids practice saying it.  Its just a line and not the whole thing.

Free Come Follow Me Activities for Doctrine and Covenants 121-123

This week we are talking about D&C 121-123. The story sequence activity may be helpful in sharing the story of Liberty Jail. Most of the activities center around the last topic in the Come Follow Me manual, "Even small things can make a big difference in God’s service and how we can service in small ways cheerfully." Free Come Follow Me activities for Doctrine and Covenants 115-120

This week we are talking about tithing. I found the cutest story in The Friend that I think helps explain what 10% looks like. It's called Tithing Pie and I based most of the activities off of this story. If you have some extra time it would be so fun to make a pie and share!

Free Come Follow Me Activities Doctrine and Covenants 111-114

The Things of God Can Be a Treasure to Me. This week all of the activities focus on this topic. Your family or class will love going on a treasure hunt and learn about the real treasure that matters most. I also included a fun sorting game that includes feeding a dragon or treasure chest and an  adorable interactive craft that will help your young ones remember some of God's treasures.
