If you are looking for a fun way to connect with your kids, I have a fun idea for you. This March Holiday calendar is full of 31 unique and fun holidays to celebrate with your family all month long. I've been making these for a few years and my kids love them. We do not celebrate every holiday, we do not have time for that. However, we do pick and choose our favorites and love checking the calendar every day to find out what unique holiday lands on that day. Its a great conversation starter.

July 2024 Holiday Calendar

Its finally ready! The July 2024 Holiday Calendar. I love these calendars and its full of fun, unique, and family-friendly holidays that you can celebrate this month. For the summer months, we are going to let it spark some creativity and help us plan some fun activities for the day. or week Of course we will not be celebrating every day, but it's available when we need it. For example on July 5th, National Grahm Cracker Day, we will probably make smores. and On the 8th, a Mario Kart tournament. Super simple but so fun. December Holiday Calendar 2023

Do you remember long ago when I would make these fun holiday calendars? I decided its something I want to bring back after a long break. I mean how cute are these?!? My kids love them and started asking me to make them again so here we are. I hope these are something your family will love as well. 

I had this done a week ago and just remembered I forgot to post it! I'm hoping to get back into the swing of posting more consistently again. I've kind of missed this place. I like to print a copy and hang it on the fridge. We pick and choose some holidays to celebrate but we also think its fun to look at it each day :) I like to keep it simple and managable but I'd love to hear your ideas or see your picture! Free February Holiday Calendar

I am excited to share the February holiday calendar with.  There are 28 fun and unique holidays that you will love celebrating with your family this month.  A few of my favorites are National Muffin day, National Pizza Day, Pay a Compliment Day, and of course Valentine's Day. I would love to know which ones you plan to celebrate.  We don't celebrate all of them but still love to just check the calendar everyday. The days and weeks seem to fly by and this is one way we slow down and connect even if its just for a minute.

This year is surprisingly flying by.  I don't remember ever being this busy and I am trying to remember to take time to enjoy the days.  Today its a new month and a new holiday calendar!  There are so many fun and unique holidays in October.   We normally only celebrate a few each month.  This month I am going to try and do more and tie it in with our homeschool time.  I can tell my kids are getting a little burnt out being home all day, everyday and I'm hoping this will help shake things up a bit :)  So tell me what holiday are you most excited to celebrate this month?

Can you believe it is already June!  This year has been very different and I am still trying to wrap my head and heart around so many things. As time moves so quickly I hope this will be a time my children look back on and remember the good memories we are creating together.  One thing I struggle with is that the days seem to all blend together.  These holiday calendars have been so much fun for my kids.  We don't celebrate every day and the ones we do it's something simple.  They don't care what we do but really enjoy checking the calendar, helping me plan, and enjoy spending time together.

It breaks up our week and gives us something to look forward to and celebrate.  To be honest the past few weeks have been hard at times and we are still figuring out our new normal. It has also been a wonderful time to slow down and spend time together and I am so grateful to have this extra time with my kids.  I knew I needed to make a holiday calendar for April-also my kids have been asking for it.  This month has so many fun holidays that we are excited to celebrate.  We don't celebrate all of them and the ones we do are often a small craft, treat, or game.  It's just a small thing but it makes me pause from the daily to-do list and just be present.

Its just about summer break for us and I can't wait. I love the slower pace, free time, and of course my kids being home.  My hope is this holiday calendar will spark some really fun ideas for a summer full of memories. I've found if I can start them off with one activity they will often find fun ways to play all day instead of heading towards the tv or complaining about being bored.  It takes a little effort on my part but it is so worth it.

23 May Holidays your Kids will LOVE

Last year I created fun holiday calendars that are full of your common and not so common holidays.  My kids loved them but with our busy schedules I wasn't planning on doing them this year.  I missed them and so did my kids.  After 4 months without them I'm bringing them back!  So come back each month to find your updated calendar.  

  Slowing down and creating memories with my kids is very important to me.  This calendar makes it so easy to do just that.  We don't celebrate every holiday and we keep it pretty simple  For example this month we'll make lemonade and drink it outside on the 6th and eat pizza while watching a movie on the 17th.  Simple but your kids will love it.

It's time for another holiday calendar!  Can you believe Halloween is over and Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner.  I know with everything going on these next two months you might be wondering why would I want to add one more thing to our long to do list.  Well that might be exactly why you need this holiday calendar.  I like to use it to slow down and spend a few special minutes (yes it can take just minutes) to create some special memories with my kids.  We pick a few and for the most part keep it pretty simple.  You do not need to celebrate all of them (we don't) just pick and choose what works for you and your family.
