I found 31 fun and unique holidays for you and your family to celebrate all month long. August has some really fun holidays like "National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day," National Banana Split day," and one of my favorites "National Pickleball Day."  I'd love to hear your favorites and how you plan to celebrate! I see lots of food and fun happening in our home.

27 Fun and Quirky Holidays to Celebrate with your Kids in August

Summer is almost over and school is just around the corner.  It feels a little weird this year not really going back to school but we are excited for our new adventure in homeschooling and online learning. One thing my kids have really loved during this months of being home is our holiday calendar.  They really love checking the calendar to find out what holiday falls on that day. We don't celebrate all of the holidays and the ones we do are very simple.  Its a fun and easy way to makes some sweet memories with my kids and encourage some creativity.  For the month of August I found 27 fun and unique holidays to celebrate. What holidays do you plan on celebrating?

26 Fun Holidays to Celebrate with Your Kids in August

Can you believe its already August and school starts in just a few weeks (I know some have already started!).  The summer goes by way to quickly.  To celebrate the last few days of summer I've rounded up some pretty fun holidays to celebrate with your kids this month.

We've been using these calendars all year and my kids still think they are so fun!  We pick a few and for the most part keep it pretty simple.  You do not need to celebrate all of them (we don't) just pick and choose what works for you and your family.

Download a copy of the calendar, print, display, and have fun.

I'll be posting ideas as I finalize my plans and also as we celebrate some of these holidays.  My hope is that this will be something fun for your family and a way to create some special memories.  I'd love to hear your ideas and see pictures of your celebrations!
